The term “Fire Alarm” used to be an all-encompassing catch phrase used to describe a fire evacuation system with some pull stations, bells or horns. Today, alarms are much more complex and incorporate voice and network capabilities.
It is for this reason that we prefer the term Fire and Life Safety Systems. Below are short descriptions of the different systems represented by Fire Chief Equipment.

Notifier Onyx™ 3030
The NFS-3030 is an intelligent Fire Alarm Control Panel designed for medium to large-scale facilities. Fire emergency detection and evacuation are extremely critical to life safety, and the NFS-3030 is ideally suited for these applications. The NFS-3030 is part of the ONYX Series of products from NOTIFIER.
The NFS-3030 is ideal for virtually any application because it features a modular design that is configured per project requirements. With up to 10 Signaling Line Circuits (SLCs), the NFS-3030 supports up to 3,180 intelligent addressable devices.

Notifier ONYXWorks
ONYXWorks is Notifier’s next generation management interface for life safety, fire, security, card access and other facilities. It features intelligent gateways to facilitate modular system integration that allows more flexibility when integrating common building operations. ONYXWorks communicates over your local TCP/IP network.
The ONYXWorks PC workstation has the ability to monitor or control multiple device networks (local and remote sites).

Notifier ONYX DVC-EM Distributed Voice Instruction System
The Notifier DVC (Digital Voice Command) is a modern, full-featured Audio Command system that provides automated audible evacuation instructions or alarm information.
DVCs connected to NOTI-FIRE-NET allow for many units to be added for sites of any size or complexity. Each DVC supports up to eight channels of audio, five channels of firefighter telephone communications and control and supervision for up to 32 DAL devices.
