Engineered dry chemical systems are custom designed suppression systems that consist of one of Ansul’s many dry chemical products. Depending on the application, a twin-agent system may be used. These systems utilize both the dry-chemical and an aqueous film forming foam agent. The dry chemical will suppress the fire quickly while the foam forms a very effective blanket over the hot area to prevent it from flaring back up.
